Photo tips

Photography is "painting with light" - and there is plenty of it in Sicily. But where can you find the most beautiful photo spots? This page will inform you exactly about that.

Doing this, we will focus on the two Sicilian towns of Bagheria and Santa Flavia. Here you will find almost everything that characterises Sicily - just without a volcano. Bagheria and Santa Flavia are therefore "Sicily - All in one Place".

So now we know where we can take photos with a like guarantee. But when is the best time? To figure this out, we will use the free online tool suncalc.org following these three steps:

  • Move (and zoom) the map until the photo spot is in the centre.
  • Set the date at the top left.
  • Move the yellow button at the very top of the page to set the time.

Bagheria - Photo spots

Most of Bagheria's photo spots are located in the neighbourhoods directly by the sea. One of the most famous, however, is in the centre of the old town - the monsters of Villa Palagonia.
