Beach
Probably the most beautiful beach in Santa Flavia is located in the centre of the Sant'Elia district. It not only offers fine sand, but also several bars and a children's playground - and it's free.
Why is the village beach of Sant'Elia still not hopelessly overcrowded? Simply because there are only a few car parks here. So it's better to come by bike.
Bathing bay
This bathing bay is magical. No wonder the majority of the 1500 visitors on Google Maps gave it five stars.
Our photo was taken on 31 October 2022, so if you book a holiday letting in Sant'Elia in autumn, you'll have the bay almost to yourself - and the water still offers a summery warmth.
Important: Because of the rocks, we recommend the bay only for experienced swimmers.
The rocky outcrop 'La Punta'
Are you looking for a spot to take photos with a like guarantee? Then this rocky outcrop is perfect for you - especially at sunrise. So it's good if you have a holiday letting just around the corner.
Getting up early is rewarded with a fantastic view: the rising sun bathes the sea, the rocks, the seagulls and returning fishing boats in a warm light. And you have everything to yourself. Almost always.
'Il Kafara' beach
The large beach "Il Kafara" is located on the edge of Sant'Elia. Not only is it free to use, but in summer it even has a small, improvised bar. No wonder it is very popular on summer weekends.
There is even a car park opposite the entrance to the beach. To get a free space, however, you have to arrive early in the morning on warm weekends. Here too, it is therefore advisable to use a bike.
