Beach
The beach of Aspra is right next to the wonderful seafront promenade. Some of the holiday lettings we recommend are just a few minutes away.
Museum of Anchovies
This "museum" definitely has two wrong names: It is much more than a museum and it is about much more than just anchovies.
Perhaps you could call it an "experience room". An experience room that immerses you in the culture of the Sicilian fishing village of Aspra - with all its good, bad and tragic sides. The hundreds of 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor say it all.
For expats
Swimming, then an ice cream in the bar and live music on the promenade in the evening. This is what summer in Aspra looks like.
In "winter" Aspra's surroundings are green. Now is the perfect time for excursions on the nearby Monte Catalfano.
And after that you can relax on your roof terrace. This is a great place to sit outside in the sun in winter.
