Rent a bike - The process

Sicula Bike rents out bikes exclusively to guests of selected holiday lettings of Solemar Sicilia.

Here we will show you in detail how to rent such a package of holiday letting and bike.

For a better overview, we recommend using a PC instead of a smartphone.

How to rent a holiday letting with a rental bike on the Solemar Sicilia website (If you prefer an offer, please write an email to: info@solemarsicilia.com):

• Choose a holiday flat that you like from this list.
• Click on the link of this holiday letting to go to the corresponding website of Solemar Sicilia.
• Click on the "Prices and Availability" button to go to the rental platform.
• Click on the language selection in the top right-hand corner and select "EN".
• Enter the desired arrival and departure time at the top left.
• If the holiday flat is available during this period, the "Book Now" button will appear on the right. It will take you to the booking form.

If you do not yet have a customer account with Sicula Bike, please follow the steps below:

• Please send this text to bike.rental@sicula.services.
• You will then receive an invitation email ("Account invitation") with the link "Accept invitation" within two days.
• Click on it to go to the Sicula Bike store.
• There, you will be asked to enter a password of your choice. Please keep it safe.
• After that your customer account is active and so it goes on.

Please have the email address and password of your customer account at Sicula Bike ready and then proceed as follows:

• Go to the home page of the Sicula Bike store.
• Click on the green "Select a rental period;..." button at the top centre of the start page.
• This opens a new window called "Cart".
• Enter the number of days ("Rental duration") and the start ("Start") of the rental period here.
• The end of the rental period ("Return") now appears automatically at the top right.
• If the data is correct, click the green button "Apply".
• The "Cart" window closes and the home page of the store is visible again.

• The green button at the top of the start page now shows the rental period you have selected.
• A little further down on the home page you can see which bikes are available during this rental period.
• Click on the desired bike to start the rental process.
